Tasty Koji’s Quick Tomato Marinara

A rich, umami-packed tomato sauce in just 15 minutes — thanks to our live fermented Koji!

Ingredients:

1 can (14.5 oz) crushed tomatoes (or 2 cups fresh chopped tomatoes)

1 tbsp Tasty Koji Onion and/or Koji Garlic

1 tbsp olive oil

Optional: pinch of chili flakes, fresh basil, or oregano

Instructions:

Heat olive oil in a small pot over medium heat.

Add tomatoes and bring to a gentle simmer.

Stir in Tasty Koji Onion or Garlic.

Simmer uncovered for 10–15 minutes until slightly thickened.

Taste and enjoy! Serve over pasta, roasted vegetables, or use as pizza sauce.
