Simple Tasty Koji Marinade (Protein)
Ingredients:
1 lb Beef, chicken, pork, tofu, or fish
1-2 tbsp Shio Koji, Onion Koji, Garlic Koji, and/or Tamari Koji (Total of 1-2tbsp)
Instructions:
Rub Koji Salt evenly over the protein. Marinate in the fridge for at least 2 hours, ideally overnight. Cook as desired.
Benefit:
Koji’s enzymes naturally tenderize and boost umami, making protein juicier and easier to digest.
Tip:
This is the basis of protein marinade. Use on any of your favorite proteins of your choice with any of our Tasty Koji savory products (Shio Koji, Onion Koji, Garlic Koji, or Tamari Koji).
